![]() ![]() I recommend the time clock and everything that comes with it except the support from Lathem. I just unplugged the time clock took it to our other location. In case anyone is interested to know what I ended up doing. But what I do mind is that they don't have sufficient manuals. A simple web enabled time clock at your fingertips The model PC700 employee time clock with WiFi works exclusively with Paćlock Online and includes an internal dry contact relay for door access control and bell ringer capabilities. I don't mind the subscription based support. All I wanted was a manual telling me what I can do with the USB port and how to do it. When I tried contacting support they won't do ANYTHING without an active "subscription". I still don't know if this is possible as I can't find where the manual says like anything about the USB port. My plan was to use the USB port on the time clock to off load the time onto a flash drive. A storm took down the one antenna and so the clock of course could not sync with the server. We have 2 locations and a point to point tower connecting the locations. Lathem wants you to pay for any support after initial set up. The only thing that does not work well AT ALL is support. We don't use many of the "advanced" features. I would highly recommend this to someone who needs a simple time clock solution. I did see some reviewers here on amazon had issues with the touch screen, I have not experienced anything negative with the time clocks in hardware or software. The PC software that comes with these clocks is easy to setup, use, and manage. This helps with payroll as people realize when they have missed a punch (and then are not trying to recall what time they came in 2 weeks ago). I have it set up to live sync, so it always lets them know how many hours they have, as well as letting them know if they are punching in or out. many of them clock in at one building and clock out at one of the other buildings. There is currently 17 employees using these time clocks. While making life much easier for the accountant who manages payroll. They are very simple to use for all of the employees. We use 3 of these time clocks in our 3 buildings (2 locations).
